Facebook & Life Expectancy October 20, 2009

Today in fourth hour, we had a great discussion on whether or not increased internet social networking actually increased or decreased a person’s face-to-face interactions with people.  The research I’ve read links an increase to online social networking to both obesity and depression.  However, the article I’m posting below states that it depends on the overall satisfaction one has with his/her life prior to joining the networking site.  If you read this article and have thoughts, please post comments.  I’ll make sure to mark down points for you on the token economy for “literary development.”
