Isnad–try again. These sentences are simplistic lacking any imagery. “The boy moved his eyes with speed”–this is you TELLING me, not SHOWING me.

She felt icicles growing the tip of her organs every step she took.

As the yellow golden eye raises from below the waters, the turquoise ocean roared to live as it hit the shore ahead.

He tasted food from heaven.

My stomach is growling for energy.

WOW–I would LOVE if you used the second sample to write a new story. What a truly imagistic beginning–pulls readers right in.

His eyes were so red as if he was cutting onions.

HIs face felt as clear as the blue sky.

HIs voice was like a lions roar.

He smelt as if he has never showered in his life.

Tactile: His hands were as rough as the the cement we walk on

Auditory: They sang out loud for all to hear in hormony

Olfactory: The street smelled as if it were garbage day

Gustatory: This candy is so sweet its like the flavor is dancing on my tongue

Yeah, I read that. Tis okay.

Some of these are less than spectacular. The visual one is VERY typical. Snow comes to a million people’s minds when they think of white. Imagery pushes our thinking and connections. Your auditory and gustatory came close. Give it another shot perhaps?

SHE WAS SCARED AS IF SHE WAS IN A HORROR MOVIE LISTENING TO THE RUMBLE IN HER HEART…SHE WAS SWEATING WHEN SHE LOOKED AT THE SUN TO PICTURE HIS SMILE….ANNA HAD THE SWEET TASTE OF CANDY WHEN SHE GAZED INTO HIS EYES…….LOVE WAS FINALLY IN THE AIR WHEN THE SNOW FLAKES FELL FROM THE SKY WHEN SHE FELT HIM TOUCH HER AND SAY GOOD-BYE….ANNA WAS DAY DREAMING WHEN SHE SMELT HIS COLOGNE AS HE WALKED AWAY, SHE HAD HER HANDS IN THE AIR AS IF SHE WAS HOLDING A BEAR AND SHE QUICKLY OPENED HER EYES AND JUST LIKE MAGIC NO ONE WAS THERE……

Visual imagery: the girl’s body is straighter than a road, and as slimy as a stick.
Auditory imagery: her voice was soft and low as a pigeon. Her lips were moving as if she was licking honey.
Gustatory imagery: when I think of sour gum, a pond covers my tongue.
Tactile imagery: Her checks were made up of fur.
Olfactory imagery: his breath is stingier than a rotten meat.
Kinesthetic imagery: she was moving her body from side to side. If someone saw her he/ she will think that she has a broken leg.

Visual: The boy looked as if a bit of joy crossed his glittering eye.
Tactile: The bed feels as if I was laying on a ball of cotton in the middle of the sky.
Auditory: I love the sound of the birds melancholy in harmony on a sunny day.
Olfactory: The diaper smells as if it was sprayed by a skunk.
Gustatory:This food tastes as though it was undercooked.
Kinesthetic: A heavy breeze was twirling around me like a tornado.

KINESTHETIC: The trees were shaking like an earthquake.

The house was as scary as a haunted house.The front door creaked as loud as a baby crying for her mother. As she put her hand on to the door knob she could feel the bumpy dust filled grime on the knob. As she tried to find the light switch she could here a rustling sound which came from all over the dust filled floors of the what appeared to be ancient living room. The folded up bed sheets no longer white had been inhabited by some sort of large black insect .

olfactory- he stinked as if he has been living he whole life in an alley full of garbage
auditory- the baby’s crying was so loud that i needed earplugs

kinesthetic- he moved so fast that i didnt know how much legs he has

tactile- it looked like a white tipped volcano was in the middle of his face asking to be popped
olfactory- it was like i just walked into a room of rotten eggs
auditory- i turned my face and squinted my eyes as windows began to shatter and my ears began to bleed
gustatory- it was softer then a babys butt.
kinesthetic- he jet passed us like a bolt of lightning

Visual: People stared after the new vehicle was unveiled, the crimson body, the aerodynamic shape, it was breathtaking.
Auditory: The leaves rustled in the wooshing of the wind.
Olfactory: The aroma which clouded my thoughts was one I would never forget – it was simply amazing.
Gustatory: After eating Chinese food for the frist time, I wondered why I havn’t tried it before.
Tactile: The warm sand between my toes, the ocean crashing onto my feet, it is a feeling that I will remember forever.
Kinesthetic: The cobra slithered silently through the grass before slowly squeezing its prey to death.

Visual: The gold on her hand was as bright and shiny as the sun.
Tactile: The bed in her room was as soft as a new born babies skin.
Olfactory:The boy smelt like he never took a shower in years.
Auditory: The charming bird whistled like the gentle wind.
Gustatory: The cold pizza tasted like it was never placed in the oven.
Kinestic: The heavy trees shook fast as the earthquake passed by.

Visual: It was beautiful how the colors on the flower were unique.

Kinestheic: The person knocked on the door, and everyone heard a movement.

Gustatory: The ice cream was very cold against the sensative teeth.

Auditory: We all heard lightning stike as the storm continued.

Tactile: I felt a shock of electricity as I plugged in the laptop cord.

visual- i am hot in school as a flame in hot cettieos bag
tactile-when i go to class i feel fresh as i was taking a steamy hot shower.
auditory- the sound that comes out of me is the sound of a boss just like a suited man .
olfactory- i smell amazingly good such as the wind in the shy .
gustatory- man i like to taste soft fresh baked lays such as the poeple get baked and layed on the floor.
kinesthetic-i move very fast as the shy is limit homie.

~Kinesthetic- They ran as slow as a turtle.

Olfactory- The smell of the incredible cake called my name.
guistatory-It tasted like death waiting for me.
kinesthetic-I madly ran across the stage to gain attention.
